The Unseen hand at work!

Hello again blogging friends!

I am home again and boy is it good to be home!

Overwhelmed, underestimates how I felt when I read all your lovely comments of best wishes for my surgery-I feel I have so many friends out there! Even though I haven't met you, I feel I know you, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Surgery for the gallbladder removal went as planned, but I also had to have an area of my bowel resected which complicated things a little more- only allowing me home now, but I don't see it really as a complication but as a blessing in disguise.

A problem with the bowel was identified and resolved during surgery, which apparently would have caused me an obstruction in the not too distant future, resulting in more major surgery at a later date. I stand once again, truly amazed at the unseen hand of my Father who had been going before, guiding the surgeons hand and every little detail-don't forget, my surgery had been delayed; was that to allow this problem to be more easily identified? I don't know, but one thing I do know is that,

"all things work together for good, to them that love Him"

Once again, many many thanks for all your prayers and support.

I plan to enjoy catching up on all your happenings over the next few days, so keep blogging and crafting! (Sorry, no pics from me today!lol)

Blessings, Shazy x

  8. Hi Shazy, Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm so happy to hear your surgery went well and you are on the mend. I love your stitch work and your blog...I am now a follower.

You asked me what kind of wool I use for my penny rugs. I use new wool and wool felt. I also use wool that I find at second hand stores. I look for women's skirts because they are easy to take apart and sometimes they have some nice pattern to them. To felt them I wash in hot water on a handwash cycle. I then take the skirts apart and usually rewash them in the handwash cycle again.
    Keep stitching,
    Leanne

  11. Hi Shazy,

We don't know each other yet, but I made my way to your blog from another prim lovers blog. I love your stitching, and have enjoyed have a peek into your life. I've added you in my followers list as well.

I am so glad to hear that your surgery went well, now take it easy for the next few weeks if possible. Sit back, stitch, paint, whatever you are comfortable doing and let that wonderful family spoil you for a bit!

    Wooly hugs,

    Trudy

  12. God is so amazing, isn't He? Glad to hear you are home now. That's wonderful news that was caught early on so major surgery wouldn't be needed later. I do believe you could be right on the timing of the surgery. We don't know what's going on, but isn't it so comforting to know that our Father always knows?? What a wonderful testimony you have for Him! Take it easy, praying for a quick recovery for you!
